About Alyssa
I am a compassionate and collaborative psychotherapist with a diverse background supporting individuals across the lifespan. My professional experience includes extensive work with individuals navigating addiction alongside mental health diagnoses, as well as children, couples, and families. At the core of my work is the belief that no one is broken—and that you are always more than a diagnosis or a chapter of your life.
I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective, helping clients recognize their inherent capabilities while working alongside perceived limitations. I believe meaningful change happens when we focus on progress over perfection and honor the journey, not just the destination. My role is to meet you exactly where you are, while also offering thoughtful challenges that support growth and movement toward your individual goals.

In addition to my clinical training, I am a Certified Life Coach and HypnoBirthing® Educator with years of experience supporting women and couples through pregnancy and childbirth. My work in this area focuses on self-advocacy, trauma processing, fear release, and empowering individuals to trust themselves and their bodies. This experience deeply informs my therapeutic work, particularly in understanding how environment, mindset, and lived experience shape emotional and physical well-being.

I believe in treating the whole person. Through extensive research, study, and hands-on experience, I’ve come to understand that healing often begins in the mind and the environment—and that learning how the mind works can be profoundly life-changing. I prioritize teaching practical, sustainable skills that clients can carry with them long after therapy ends, setting them up not just for relief, but for life.

My work is non-judgmental, empathetic, and deeply respectful. I view you as the expert in your own life and care, and I value collaboration as a cornerstone of the therapeutic relationship. With a background in the arts, I also integrate creativity and expressive approaches when appropriate, honoring the many ways people process, heal, and grow.

Above all, I believe that reaching for help and support is a strength—not a weakness. Every person deserves a beautiful, meaningful, and fulfilled life, in whatever way that looks for them. It is an honor to walk alongside clients as they reconnect with their true potential and move toward lives that feel more authentic, empowered, and whole.
