About Emily
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Taking the first step toward getting help can feel overwhelming. You might find yourself wondering, “Will things ever get better?” or “Can my life look the way I want it to?” These questions are deeply human, and you’re not alone in asking them. As your therapist, my goal is to help you recognize your strengths and build the skills needed to move toward the life you envision through a person-centered, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach.

My experience is in both community addiction treatment and outpatient mental health settings. I’ve worked with adults navigating a wide range of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am well-versed in providing individual and group counseling focused on relapse prevention, emotion regulation, and recovery-oriented care. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), tailoring each approach to meet your unique needs and goals.

Above all, I’m committed to creating a safe, validating, and empathic space where you feel seen and supported. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, set attainable goals, and strengthen your coping strategies to promote long-term healing and resilience.

As Dr. Marsha Linehan reminds us: “What is important is that you experience your life as worth living—one that is satisfying, and one that brings happiness.”
