Immigration Evaluations

Psychological evaluations play a crucial role in asylum and extreme hardship immigration cases. These evaluations are conducted by Licensed Clinical Social Workers and are used to assess the psychological and emotional well-being of individuals seeking asylum or relief from deportation based on extreme hardship.

In both cases, the psychological evaluation is a critical piece of evidence that can help immigration authorities or courts make informed decisions regarding the individual’s eligibility for relief. It is important that these evaluations are conducted by qualified and experienced mental health professionals who adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice.

All clinicians are licensed in New York State. Evaluations are offered both in-person at our Port Jefferson Station office, and virtually to provide flexibility and accessibility to accommodate your preferences and circumstances. Interpreters available in Spanish, Greek and French.

**Evaluations are non-insurance billable. Payment plans available and credit cards accepted. Please call for additional information and pricing.**
